First time at a Buddhist temple? Come as you are.

We'll walk you through what to wear, what to bring (nothing is required), and what happens during a pūjā, so you can arrive relaxed and just take it in. Bringing children? The Sunday Dhamma School at 9.30am is a gentle way in.

Our heritage

Explore the temple

The Jayasiri Murals

Seven scenes from the life of the Buddha, hand-painted on our shrine-hall walls in 1994 by Sri Lankan master Kalasuri Jayasiri Semage, and still used to teach the Sunday Dhamma School.

The Enshrined Relics

Sacred sarīrika (bodily) relics gifted from Sri Lanka, enshrined at the heart of the temple.

The Bodhi Tree

Grown from the sacred Bodhi tree at Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, itself a descendant of the original tree at Bodh Gaya, under which the Buddha attained enlightenment.
